Step-by-Step installation instructions using Veenio's Internet
Access Device
1. Telephone:
Plug the standard
telephone cord (provided with your Veenio service) into the
phone jack on the back of your phone.
2. Internet Access Device (IAD) and
telephone cord:
Plug the other end of
your telephone cord (from step 1) into the phone line port
on the IAD (provided). The IAD used is the Digium IAXy
adapter.
3. IAD and LAN:
Plug the ethernet cable
(enclosed) in the LAN port on your IAD.
4. Router:
Plug the other end of the
ethernet cable into a LAN port on your router.
5. IAD and Power:
Connect the appropriate
end of the IAD power supply cord (provided) into the power
jack. Plug the other end of the cord into a standard power
outlet.
6. The IAD will power on instantly:
However, it will take a
few moments before it automatically acquires and IP address.
When the IAD gets the IP address, your phohe will have dial
tone. You can now start making and receiving calls.
